Bertha Alicia Resendez Lopez (Sierra), 55, of Waco, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 7, 2019.
Memorial Service: 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Bertha, Betty as she was loving called by her family and friends, was born January 13, 1964 in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico to Anacleto Sierra and Alicia Gutierrez. Betty moved to Waco in 1984. Betty was married to Epifanio Resendez Lopez and had three sons, Alex, Frank and Sergio. Betty was a true warrior who faced life’s challenges with courage and determination.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Jaime and Rogelio.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Maria de la Cruz, Rosario, Laura; brothers, Hugo and Miguel; eleven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
