Belinda Sue Pauley passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 quietly at home after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Charleston, WV to Delbert and Mary Pauley. Belinda lived in several states before making her way to Texas where she had lived for the last forty years. She worked as an apartment manager for most of that time and was known to have a strong work ethic and desire to help people. Belinda touched the lives of a great many people and she was loved by them.

Having lived in the Hillsboro, TX area for the last twenty years, she and Duane were active in various organizations and attended Love View Baptist Church in their community.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and father, Delbert Pauly of Charleston, WV.

Belinda is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Handorf and fiancé, Bryan Pearson; partner, Duane Cherry; mother, Mary Pauley; sisters, Denise Brown, Jada Hill and husband Buck; brother, Tim Pauley; and a slew of nieces, nephews, and their children.

Per her wishes, there will not be a funeral service; instead, Lindsey and Duane ask that you pick a charity in which you feel strongly and donate in her honor. Thank you in advance for following through on this request and for the expressions of concern over the past days.

  1. I’m so very sad and send my sincerest condolences to Duane, Lindsay, and the family. I was blessed to know Belinda through working together. Belinda was both an exceptional caring person and successful apartment manager. She always brightened my day as she did with so many others.
