It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bubba Puryear, who left this world on December 10, 2024.
Born on November 14, 1963, in Waco, Texas, to Beauford Gale Puryear Sr. (affectionately known as Little Man) and Earnestine Dehart Puryear, Bubba brought joy and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He eventually found his home in Elm Mott, Texas, where he created a lasting legacy of love and unforgettable memories.
Bubba was not only a cherished son and brother, but he also embraced the role of uncle with open arms, particularly adoring his nephew, Joseph Malinowski. With a heart overflowing with kindness, he held a special affinity for family, especially children, and had a remarkable ability to make those around him feel valued and loved. Whether it was sharing his resources or offering a listening ear, Bubba always put others first.
A true creative at heart, Bubba expressed himself through various passions, including remodeling, construction, drawing, leatherwork, and working on cars and motorcycles. His lively spirit and zest for life made every gathering brighter; whether at home or by the lake, he cherished moments filled with laughter, storytelling, and shared meals with family and friends. Known for his infectious humor, he had an extraordinary talent for bringing joy to those around him, often leaving everyone in stitches.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, Beauford Gale Puryear Sr. and Earnestine Dehart Puryear.
He is survived by his stepmother, Brenda Puryear of Waco; his sister, Kathy Knapp of Riesel; stepsisters Sandra Holder and her husband Jerry of Ben Hur, Lee Ann Sanchez of Waco; stepbrother Billy Williams and his wife Kathy of Lacy Lakeview; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.
A private cremation has been conducted by Lake Shore Funeral Home, with interment to take place in Frankston, Texas, at a later date. Bubba’s light will forever shine in our hearts, and his spirit will remain alive in the countless lives he touched. We invite all who knew him to celebrate his life and the joy he brought to each of us.

Thank you Bubba for all the good times. I will miss you.
Love you.
Betty
