Barry Lee Purdon, 48, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, July 8th at a local nursing center.
Graveside services will be 11:30AM Friday, July 11th at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Elton Hall officiating. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.

Barry was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Stevens.

Survivors include daughter, Brittany Purdon; son, Jason Purdon; father, George Purdon; brothers, Mark Purdon and Mike Purdon; and dear friend and mother-in-law, Sandra Ewers.

As his father I am very proud of who my son became. As a man tho he had fallen on very hard times and our relationship had become highly strained. He had found those traits that god would be proud of.He was kind, forgiving, loving and held no malice toward anyone! I’m so glad he was my son>Thank you GOD!
