Ballard Cabaniss, 78, of Waco, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 11AM Monday, October 11th at Cedar Knob Cemetery near Salado with Minister Jim Martin officiating. There will be no visitation. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Cabaniss; and granddaughter, Kayla Girouard.

Survivors include wife, Conita Cabaniss of Waco; daughters, Carla Girouard and husband Norman of Mansfield, and Carol Grusendorf and husband Brad of China Spring; stepson, Dax E. Allison of Ft. Worth; stepdaughter, Alix A. Biondo and husband Joey of Spring; grandchildren, Allison, April and husband Spencer, Alec, Ashley, Justin, Courtney, Caleb, Sydney and Samantha; brothers, Bobby Cabaniss of Spring, and Jerry Cabaniss and wife Verlene of Belton; and sister, Naomi Jobe and husband LaVerne of Harker Heights.
