Aubrey was one of the kindest men I have ever known. I worked with him for many years at McLennan County and he was a man who brought sunshine with him wherever he went. Even though his family had suffered extreme loss through the years, Aubrey always had a kind word for everyone he came in contact with. If you weren’t laughing when he approached you, you would be when he left you! I will forever treasure his friendship! He was a man who loved his Lord with all his heart and it was apparent to those who knew him well. RIP my dear friend. Thank you for the many years of friendship, laughter and the love you spread to everyone around you. Until we meet again in Heaven, I will hold on to the great memories of my dear friend, Aubrey Minchew…most of which made me laugh out loud!

Not enough room to say all I want to say but, what a wonderful role model and Christian man. Worked with Aubrey at the Sheriffs office in 1982-1987. I was 21 years old and really looked up to him.
Always kind laughing and a wonderful man.
I am a much better man for knowing him.
God bless the family as he soars with Angels

My condolences to the family. I worked with Aubrey at MSO and he was always ready to help anyone. He went out of his way to make your bad day better with his humor. He was more than coworker, he was a dear and true friend.
Aubrey, you will not be forgotten. Thank you for all the memories, stories, and laughs you brought to all of us.
