Ashley Ann Radde

Ashley

Ashley Ann Radde was born in Arlington, Texas on August 16, 1994 to Angela and Bill Radde. She passed from this life on the evening of August 27, 2021.  She now resides in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Celebration of Life Service: 4PM Saturday, September 11 at Central United Methodist Church, Waco.

Gathering of Family and Friends: 6 to 8PM Thursday, September 9 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Ashley attended school from 3rd grade through high school graduation in Axtell ISD. She then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Services and Development from Tarleton State University in 2017. She loved teaching high school Ag Science classes in Alba-Golden.  She also loved working for Christie and TC Long with Elite Barrel Racing. She most recently served as the Ag and Natural Resources Agent in Bastrop County.

Ashley’s love of animals filled her life. She was an accomplished horsewoman and raised and showed Herford and Polled Hereford cattle starting at a very young age.  By the time she was in high school she was considered by many to be an expert showman.  Of course, she has a large number of belt buckles and awards to show for her outstanding accomplishments.

Ashley is survived by her parents; her grandparents, Susan and Henry Radde and Judy and Pat Latham. Although Ashley was an only child, she had many cousins she considered her siblings: Sam Radde, Katie Larkin, Ali and Luke Latham, Dylan and Caden Pickens.  She also had many second cousins with whom she was close.  Ashley was adored by her aunts and uncles: Cheryl and Scott Ferrell, Laura and Eric Radde, Kandace and David Latham.  Ashley’s dogs, Louie and Ryder, were her beloved fur babies.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by check to the Axtell ISD – Ashley Radde Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Texas Hereford Foundation Ashley Radde Memorial Scholarship Fund or the Texas Polled Hereford Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Condolence Messages

  1. Mr. and Mrs. Radde~
Even though I only knew Ashley for a short time, I am so blessed to call her my friend. She was more than just someone who lived next door. I looked forward to seeing her smile as we waved in passing. I felt we were there to watch out for each other. It broke my heart to hear of her passing and I will miss her greatly. May you find peace and comfort in the Lord during your time of sorrow.

    ❤️🙏. Toni

Her absence will leave a hole in our lives that is indescribable. Thank you for being such remarkable parents and Godparents.

    Mr. & Mrs. Radde:
I’ve never met you, but I know exactly how you are feeling about now. My husband a I lost our oldest son when he was 28 years old due to an automobile accident. I had to turn all the extreme sadness and pain over to God and He has carried me through. I still miss my son as much today as I did the day he passed, but now I focus on the 28 years that I was blessed with my wonderful son and look forward to reuniting with him again in heaven someday. I will pray for you both in this time of you incredible loss of your beautiful daughter.

Bill and Angela, I am sick with sadness about Ashley and her passing. I cannot begin to imagine your pain. She was a beautiful young lady inside and out. I will continue to pray for peace in understanding and or coping with such a great loss. I know that we are not to question God or the reasons that things happen the way that they do, but it is very hard to understand sometimes. My thoughts have been with you since she left this earth and I will continue to keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless You Both!!
