Anthony Melvin

Anthony Melvin passed at Baylor Scott & White December 23, 2022 at the age of 66.

Graveside Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Oakwood Cemetery

Anthony was preceded in death by step-son, James Turner II; father, Thomas Melvin; mother, Illie B. Terrell-Melvin; brothers, Charles Chappel, Fado Melvin and Thomas Melvin, Jr; sisters, Jessie Mae Gordon, Ruby Scott, Gladys Smith, Juanita Holloway, Veola Everett and Emma Ranson.

Anthony is survived by his beloved wife Rosalyn “Kay” Melvin; brother, Edward (Jessie) Melvin; sisters, Catherine Melvin, Dorothy Melvin-Johnson, Rose Marie Melvin Crawford and Roxie Melvin; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Special thanks too, his niece Meshika Thompson and friends Billie Ann Hueske, Bruce Thompson, Minnie Holmes, Eunice Tucker, LeVenya Miles, the Tutle Family, the Hedge Family and Kelvin Kirvin.

  5. Anthony was a good man I’m going to miss him very much. My name is Mike Smith and I worked with him at Coca-Cola on the Night Shift for three years. He always helped me when I needed help and I always helped him when he needed help. He was fun to be around, and always had a good joke to tell Anthony had a big hart for everyone and never one time he got mad about anything. He was happy and easy-going. I always loved Anthony like a brother. He was a good man. I’m gonna miss him very much.
