Anita Lynn Hardin, 57, of Waco, passed away on the morning of November 11, 2022 at Providence Hospital.
A celebration of her life will be held at Beacon Hill Baptist Church, 1912 Monte Vista in Waco on November 19, 2022 at 2pm. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
Anita was born on October 22, 1966 in Waco, Texas to Evelyn and Doyle Johnson. She spent her life in customer service and loved to meet new customers and visiting with the old ones. She was an avid reader and recipe collector, spending her free time at the bookstores wandering the aisles for hours getting lost in stories and recipes.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 25 years, James Alan Hardin in 2013.
Anita is survived by her children, daughter, Amanda Foreman and husband Allen Foreman; daughter, Amber Reneau and husband Dylan; son, James Carl Hardin; three grandchildren, Rebeca Maneval (United States Navy) and husband Kyle (United States Army), Taylor Foreman, and Cole Reneau; and two very precious great grandchildren Kaycee and Kenlee Maneval; she is also survived by three brothers and two sisters.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Providence Hospice for their wonderful support and compassion during their mothers passing.
