James A. Reid, best known as "Andy", 48, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at his parent’s home in Waco. Graveside services will be at 2pm, Thursday, January 9th at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Falls County. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Wednesday, January 8th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco. Andy was born on September 13, 1965 in Waco to Kenneth D. and Laura O. (Williams) Reid. In 1983, he graduated from Waco High School. Andy was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan, who loved all sports in general, and especially hunting, and fishing. He was a big Cowboys fan, as well. Andy preferred to spend his free time with friends and family, grilling outdoors, playing games such as poker and pitching washers, and making great memories. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Robert H. Reid.

He is survived by his wife, Roxanne Reid of Ranger; his children, Amber M. Reid of Waco, Meagan R. Garcia and husband Robert, of Briscoe, and Dalton L. Reid of Briscoe; two step-children, Darian S. Hendrix, and Konner R. Hendrix; three precious grandchildren, Aiden Michael Garcia, Jaxon Dean Garcia, and Hadley Marie Olson; one brother, David Reid of Waco; and numerous other relatives and friends.
