Alina was an amazing person who was always able to make me laugh, I have so many amazing memories with her and I just wish I could see her one last time. She had a beautiful smile and a amazing soul. She made it seem as if it was always going to be a good day. I always loved seeing her every day. I remember when I first met her to the last day of school. I remember our last conversation before the last day of school and the last time I would see her during school because I was swapping school that school year. She had the cute leggings with space and cats on them she also had the Disney leggings that she loved to wear. I will always miss her and I wish I could see her one last time, I will forever remember her. I miss you Alina, Rest In Peace forever. She was an amazing girl, person, and friend

Condolence from Lewis Gainor on December 10th, 2021 10:52 am

Melanie and Shawn,
We shared the experience of relocating our families to Waco during a pandemic, and seeing our children thrive in a new environment. Alina was brave and independent just like her mother. She took on the world over the last two years: going to school in person when many chose not to, practicing and trying out for cheer, making new friends in a small school where everyone already knows each other, and traveling with her grandparents. Alina conquered it all. We are devastated. Our deepest sympathies. -Lewis, Abby, Cora, and Clark

Condolence from Kyden Parrish on December 10th, 2021 10:58 am

A poem I wrote

An Angel Gained
By Kyden Parrish
In loving memory of Alina Rose Miller July 23, 2009 – December 7, 2021

Down in the depths of my heart
Lives Alina, now in heaven
I wish we were not apart
Sending me to depression

An Angel was gained
In peace may she lay
In my heart obtained
An eternal rain today

God has a plan
For the Angel gained
My heart has ran to and fro
For the Angel gained

I wish heaven were not so far away
I wish I could reach her
And say, “I’ll miss you, always”
May she live in our hearts for all years
Giving me eternal tears
