Alan Lott, age 70, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022. He was born January 12, 1952 to Florence Joy Spiering and Albert H. Lott in Hasting, MI.
Burial Service: Monday, August 29, 2022 at 12 PM at Oakwood Cemetery.
Alan loved gospel music, gardening with hydroponics and flowers, his favorite flowers were purple pansies and red geraniums. He loved the family dogs Ginger and Tippy, who have gone before him. Alan loved watching Heartland in his free time. He married his beautiful bride, Terry, on August 25, 1995 in Olivet, Michigan.
Alan proudly served in the United States Army. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his service. After the military, he worked at the VA Medical Center in Temple then Waco.
Alan is preceded in death by his parents.
Alan is survived by his wife of 27 years, Terry Ann Miller; stepson, Aaron Miller, of Woodway; stepdaughters, Kristen Miller and Bethany Miller, of Woodway; son, Aaron Austin and wife Amy Hobbs, of Lewisville, Kentucky; Stepmother, Phyllis Joy Lott; brother, Grant Lott and Sandy Jesse; and numerous other relatives.
Place of Service: Oakwood Cemetery , 2124 S.5th St.; Waco, TX 76706
