Crecenthia Estene Burnett, 86, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025.

Memorial Graveside Service: 1PM Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at China Spring Cemetery.

Crecenthia was born on October 16, 1938, to the late Herman and Allie Mae Hunter. Crecenthia’s life was a testament to the warmth of family, the strength of love, and the joy of unwavering resilience.

Crecenthia was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Allie Mae (Swinney) Hunter; her cherished children, Danny Burnett, Mark Burnett and Debra Krumnow; and granddaughter, Cynthia Boykin.

Crecenthia understood the depths of both joy and sorrow. Despite the heartaches life had gifted her, she radiated kindness, compassion, and an unyielding spirit that inspired everyone around her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ira Burnett; sisters, Charlotte Bertha and Sherie Stevenson; brother, Mike Williams; daughters, Linda Gayle and Lisa Watkins; grandchildren, Ricky, Tina, Leann, Amanda, Belinda, Wendell, Michael, Danny II, Randy and Mary; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Emma, Sunny, Zachary and Summer.

As we mourn her passing, we take solace in the richness of her life and the love she so generously shared. Although she has departed from our earthly sight, her spirit will continue to resonate in our hearts.
