Dewitt Talmadge Gray, Jr.

Dewitt Talmadge Gray, Jr., age 81, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025.

Memorial Visitation:  5pm to 7pm Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Dewitt was born November 18, 1943 in Jacksonville, Texas to Dewitt Talmadge Gray, Sr. and Destine Smith Gray.  He moved to Waco in 1984 where he was the owner and carpenter for Dee Gray Construction.  Dewitt enjoyed fishing and white water rafting and was active in various groups in Waco.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Waylon.

Dewitt was preceded in death by his parents, Dewitt Gray and Dustine Horn; and brothers, Roger, Glynn and Danny Gray.  He is survived by his son, Kelly Gray; grandson, Waylon, Gray; sister-in-law, Patricia Gray; and nieces, Rhonda Waters, Rhiannon Hill and Karyna Eubanks, all of Waco Texas.
