Billie Ruth (Farek) Chaneyworth, age 94, passed peacefully away on February 24, 2025.

Memorial Service:  2pm Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Western Heights Baptist Church, 6301 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX 76710.

She was born to the late Emmitt and Ola Farek on December 18, 1930. She was married to the late Glenn Chaneyworth, Sr. on December 10, 1949, until his passing in 2023. They were married for 74 years.

Billie is survived by her two children, LaNell Woodward Smith and husband Harvey, and son Glenn Robert (Robby) Chaneyworth, Jr.; sister, Marcelias Klein and husband James; brother, Eldon Farek; brother-in-law, Rufus Chaneyworth and wife Patricia; brother-in-law, Jack Chaneyworth and wife Barbara; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Richardson; sister-in law, Marie (Flo) Chaneyworth; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and special friend, Shirley Bartos. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; son-in-law, Rick Woodward; daughter-in-law, Deborah Chaneyworth; parents, Emmitt and Ola Farek; and half-brothers, R.L. Hill and Carnell Hill.

Billie was an active member of Western Height Baptist Church for 68 years. She was an active choir member and sang with the “Sweet Spirit.” She was on several church committees. Billie was a stay-at-home mom and was active in many school functions for LaNell and Robby throughout their education. She co-owned and worked with her husband at Chaneyworth’s Traylor Printing until they retired in 2006. Billie was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
