Margaret (Barragar) Walker, 75, of Waco, passed away on Monday, September 30 at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, TX.

Celebration of Life Service:  11:00 AM Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Lake Shore Funeral Home with Margaret’s sons Jeff and Jarred officiating.

Margaret was born on October 17, 1948, in Waco, TX.  She graduated from Midway High School and lived in California with her first husband Charles Brown while he served in the United States Air Force.  After living in California for two years, she moved back to the Waco area and had two sons, Jeff and Jarred.  Margaret worked for the United States Postal Service for 29 years and served the Hewitt community on her route.  She married her husband Harvey in 1985, and they were married for 39 wonderful years.  Margaret enjoyed nature and gardening, and spending time with her family and pets.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Harvey Walker; sons, Jeff Brown and his wife Melissa and Jarred Brown and his wife Lauren; stepdaughter, Charity Jantzen and her husband Charles; nephew, Craig Merritt and his wife Jennie; sisters, Carol Poleski, Sherri Turner and Jerri Keyson and her husband Ron Keyson; nephews, Sean and Ian Keyson; and her beloved dogs, Chloe and Cooper.
