Rosa Marie Rosas was born August 30, 1957 in San Juan Aragon, Veracruz, Mexico and was raised by her grandmother, Francisca Caballero. Rosa was 65 years old when she passed away February 1, 2023 surrounded by family and close friends.

Her funeral talk will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, February 6th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (South Hall), 2308 N Valley Mills Dr, Waco, TX 76710.

Our sister Rosa Rosas was greatly motivated to serve Jehovah and became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was baptized on July 5, 1986 and greatly enjoyed serving Jehovah as a regular pioneer & participated with the regional building committee for several years. Her passion for the preaching work was evident as she, at one time, conducted 31 Bible studies in one month, clearly demonstrating her great love for Jehovah. She loved to teach others about Jehovah and his promises for humanity. In doing so she helped many get close to Jehovah. She raised her two children in the truth, Krystal and Enrique.

She was part of both the English and Spanish congregations in Waco, Texas. Rosa served Jehovah wholeheartedly and took every opportunity to preach to everyone she would meet. (2 Timothy 4:2) She was known for being straightforward and honest when defending the truth with the intent to motivate everyone to act in the interest of Jehovah’s Kingdom. She always worried for the spiritual well being of her children and spiritual children, finding ways to motivate everyone. Rosa had a zeal and love for Jehovah that motivated and influenced many to serve Him.

Rosa is survived by her husband, Carlos Rosas; daughter, Krystal Cacy, and son-in-law Connor Cacy; grandsons, Jonathan Mann and Corbin Cacy; son, Enrique Jaimes and daughter-in-law, Sugey Jaimes; grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan, Abigail and Elena Jaimes.

Rosa will be missed greatly by many relatives and friends, but we have Jehovah’s promise that we will see her soon along with the rest of our loved ones.(2 Thessalonians 2:16,17)
