Amy Elizabeth McCoy

Amy1
Amy Elizabeth McCoy, 60, of Houston, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.
A Private Memorial Service is planned.

Amy was born October 7, 1961 in Houston to Henry and Ellen (Kamensky) McCoy.

Amy had such a strong love for live music. Her green thumb could bring any plant back to life. She loved spending time on the river or at the beach. She was no match for anyone who played against her in trivia games, scrabble, or backgammon. Her knowledge was endless when it came to movies and music. She could always put a smile on your face with her quick wit and amazing sense of humor. The amount of love she had for her family and close friends was unmeasurable. Nothing ever went to waste, as she could make a meal out of anything and any home cozy with her decorating skills. She was loved by so many and has definitely left her mark on anyone she crossed paths with.

Amy’s parents preceded her in death.

Amy is survived by her daughters, Alexandra Wegs and Emily Wegs; sisters, Rosana Ketner (Max), and Maureen McCoy; three nieces; and one nephew.
