John Edward Sanders passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.

Funeral Service: 11AM Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

John Edward Sanders was born January 25, 1986, to the parents of Donnie Sanders and Juann Jones. John was named by his mother after his great uncle John Edward Jones from Houston, Texas. He was born in Dallas County but lived most of his life in Tarrant County. He was home schooled through the Becca Homeschool Academy. After graduating, John attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He majored in political science with a minor in psychology. John is knowledgeable in politics and has a passion for social justice/civil rights. He loved to read. He was bilingual speaking both English and French. John worked as a Deputy Clerk for Dallas County. His most recent job was at Uvalle Law Firm in Irving, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donnie Sanders; grandfather, Lawrence Billy Jones Sr; uncles, Michael and Kenneth Jones; and Aunt Marilynn Jones.

John is survived by his mother, Juann Jones (Bedford, Texas); grandmother, Juanita Jones (Satin, Texas); aunts, Charlotte Jones (Golinda, Texas), and Sandra Martin (Satin, Texas) along with a great-great uncle, great uncle, great aunts, and a host of cousins.
