Kaylie Valencia, age 14 formerly of California, passed away at home in Waco on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021.

Memorial Service: 2 pm Friday, November 5 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco.

Visitation: 6-8pm Thursday, November 4 at the funeral home.

Kaylie was a Freshman at China Spring High school. She enjoyed reading, having tea with her Mom, hanging out with her sisters, baby brother, and little cousin Zoey. She loved having fun with her friends in school, taking pictures, going on adventure drives and family trips, listening to music, dancing and singing, and acting. She had style, and hoped to one day have her own clothing line. She had taken ballet, tap, and modern dance.  Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas. She loved anything mystical and magical including mermaids.

Kaylie was a very polite and sweet girl with a big heart. She was funny and a joy to be around. She could make us laugh with the funny things she would say, or just by being her goofy self. She loved her family, and most of all loved when the whole family gathered. When her world was unbalanced, her tender heart hurt to its fullest. And so, Heaven gained another Angel.  There are no words to describe how much she is loved, and will be missed.  Kaylie, our beautiful baby girl, you will forever be a light in our hearts.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Stephanie Valencia and Rene Vasquez; father, Jorge Valencia; sisters, Destiny Valencia, Sabrina Vasquez, Ruby Vasquez, Selena Vasquez; baby brother, Cruz Vasquez; her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
