David Ellis Espin, age 60 of Bellmead, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his home surrounded by his wife and family after a long illness.
Service Information:
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Robinson Bethel Methodist Church, 104 South Old Robinson Road, in Robinson, 76706. Rev. Jerry Freedman will be officiating.
David was born February 10, 1957 to Maurice and Mabel Espin. He was born in Waco, Texas at Hillcrest Hospital. David grew up in Robinson and later moved to Bellmead where he made his home. David was a carpenter by trade. He loved working on small projects of wood. David loved his grandchildren and loved taking care of them and having them around him.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Richard Espin and Mabel Anna Defries Espin; and brother, Richard Eugene Espin.
David is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Catherine Lynn Espin; sisters, Phyllis Marie and husband Robert Krumnow of Valley Mills, TX and Bonnie Lee and husband Harold Lee Bailey of Chandler, TX; brother, Dennis Allen Espin and wife Linda Kay of Robinson, TX; children, Brian Thomas Espin, James Earl Brandon York, John Paul York, Bradley Wayne York, Anna Patricia and husband Hilario Mata; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
