Yolanda Benites Perez, lovingly known as “Yoli”, 40 of China Spring, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

Memorial Visitation: Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco from 6:00PM to 8:00PM with a Rosary to be recited by Deacon Jesse Garza at 7:00PM.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00AM, Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St. Francis Catholic Church, 315 Jefferson Avenue in Waco.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery Columbarium.

Yolanda was born December 8, 1976 in Marlin to Adam and Anita Arroyo Benites. After graduating from high school, she attended college at TSTC and earned her Dental Assistance Certificate. She worked for Saddle Creek Dentistry for the past 17 years, helping to make the world smile a little prettier. Yoli had a beautiful smile herself and a loving heart, she brighten the world of those around her. She was a long-time member of St. Francis Catholic Church, where she was a very faithful and active member and volunteer. Yolanda married the love of her life, Jorge Perez, August 31, 1996. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Yoli was a beautiful person inside and out; a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and friend, she will be deeply missed.

Yolanda leaves to cherish her memory her husband of over 20 years, Jorge Perez, Sr.; her parents, Adam and Anita Benites; her children, Kiana Perez, Adrian Perez and Jorge Perez, Jr.; her siblings, Linda Pena and husband Dagoberto and John Benites; her in-laws, Veronica and Hilario Perez; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

    I was so very sad and sorry to hear of my good friend’s passing. She was a great person and a cherished friend, beautiful inside & out. We had such great fun during our childhood years going to the Falls River with family and walking up and down Live Oak Street among others.     This is sad, Yolanda was one of my childhood friends/God sister . As I set here and type it breaks my heart into a million pieces especially for her family. She was a beautiful woman inside and out! Prayers go out for her family, my condolences.
