Teresa Kay Rippstein

Teresa Kay Parker Rippstein was born on June 5, 1962 in Waco, Tx and passed away on June 22, 2017. She was 55 years of age. Teresa is survived by her parents Thomas and Wanda Parker; her husband Ricky Rippstein; sister Carol Burdett; daughter Crystal Walker and husband Drew; son Tony Gatlin Jr. (Bubba) and fiancé Tasha; two granddaughters Alyssa and Andilynn Walker; her puppy named Sissy Bug; and many nieces and cousins.

Teresa was a beautiful woman both inside and out. She could smile and her whole face would light up, like her joy was from deep inside. She loved her family, especially her children, very much and it showed in her attitude toward them. Teresa really listened to what you were saying to her. She could “keep it real”, gave practical advice with wisdom, and had a great sense of the Lord’s love for all of us. She overcame many of life’s trials due to her humility continually allowing the Lord to work in her.

Teresa Kay had the biggest heart and was full of love for her Lord; her husband; children; mama; daddy; sister; grandbabies; and all of her loved ones. She enjoyed watching ‘Preaching’ on television and kept her Bible close to her, at all times. Even though she struggled with drug addiction for many years, she was able to turn her life around through God’s grace; and throughout every hardship and storm that life brought her, she never lost sight of Our Father In Heaven and His Love for us. Teresa was a sweet, beautiful soul and will forever be in our hearts. She was the light in our world and life will never be the same without her. Rest In Heaven, Dear Mama….

Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Matthew 5:4
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Acts 2: 25-28
I saw the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken; Therefore, my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in your presence!
