Martha “Marty” W. Norman, also known as “Aunt Marty”, 81, of Waco, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Lake Shore Village in Waco.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Celebration of Life Service: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Honorary Pallbearers: John McNamara, III, J. R. Harrison, Scott Walton, Cody Feight, John Anderson, Braxton Anderson, Ray Feight, Zach Gonzales, James Barron, Garth Goodwin and Cutter Goodwin.

Marty was born to J.B. “Jake” and Unity Mae Warren on September 5, 1936 in Waco.  She attended Bosqueville Schools and Waco Tech. She retired from the McLennan County Sheriff’s Department after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Danny F. Crocker and Randy D. Crocker; and a grandson, Greg W. Needham.

Marty is survived by two sons, Richard Crocker and wife, Barbara and Lanny Crocker; grandchildren, Karen D. Anderson and husband, John, Megan Tawbush and husband, Nathan and Michael Crocker; great-grandchildren, Rachel Needham, Braxton and Avery Anderson, Jacobi and Sophia McDonald and Laramie Crocker; great-great-grandchildren, Mariah Kerns and Grayson; two sisters, Carrol McNamara and husband, John and Darlene Brown and husband, Charlie; numerous nieces and nephews and nieces; and her close friend of many years, Vernell Lowe.
