“An angel on earth” Maria Jesus De Vega, affectionately known as “Margarita,” 83, of Waco, formerly of Tanahuato, Michoacan, Mexico, took her rightful place in the house of Our Lord on Saturday, December 6, 2014.
A Remembrance Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
She was born on February 15, 1931.
She is survived by her four sons, Roberto Vega Sr. and Frank Vega, both of Waco, Raul Vega of Uruapan, Michoacan Mexico and Miguel Vega and wife Maria Dolores Murillo De Vega of Tanahuato, Michoacan Mexico; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Maria was a very loving and caring person. She also loved her pets deeply.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing my life with such a loving angel I proudly call mother for more than half my life. I will always remember how you prayed for every one of us in good times or bad, and the never ending love you had for your family. The love and admiration you held for your sons was like no other. Thank you Robert, Roy, Pancho and Miguel for sharing your precious mother with me. May God comfort each of you and all those who loved her. As we remember each precious moment we were so fortunate to have, we lift you up in prayer for Gods eternal rest. I will miss your presence on this earth but welcome you as a true guardian angel. You are free of all pain and suffering now, no longer confined to this life. I love you Mom and will cherish your memory forever. I always told you that you were An Angel On Earth, now you are My Angel In Heaven.
