Maria Adelayda (Chan) Suarez, 62 of Waco, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 with her loving family at her side.
Visitation Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco.
Funeral Service honoring Maria’s life and her faith will be on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 11:00AM at First Spanish Assembly of God, 3301 Clay Avenue, Waco.
Burial Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 South 5th Street, Waco.
Maria was born on November 12, 1953 in Villa Madero, Campeche, Mexico to the late Esteban Chan and Felipa Perez. Most of her life was spent working as a seamstress for Wolfe Manufacturing and VR Fashion. Maria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her family above all else. She enjoyed cooking for and simply spending time with them. She is preceded in death by her parents, Esteban Chan and Felipa Perez.
Maria will be remembered with love by her husband of over 42 years, Manuel Jesus Suarez; three children, Verenice Salas and her husband Gabriel, Danny Suarez, Wendy Lopez and her husband, Henry; and her four beloved grand-sons, Jonathan Suarez, Aziel Salas, Esaih Salas and David Lopez; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
