Loretta Dawn Tolliver, 52, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 after a long courageous illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20th , at the Chapel at St. Catherine’s Center, 300 W. Highway 6 in Waco.

Loretta was born August 4, 1962 in McGregor, Texas, to Bob Spears and Linda Whatley. She had two sisters, Vickie Peterson of McGregor, Cherri Roy of Waco, and one brother, Jerry Whatley of Riesel. Loretta was a beautiful caring person who loved her family more than her own life. She had a fondness for butterflies, windchimes and Betty Boop and especially loved the rain. She said it was Gods’ way of cleansing the evil from the earth.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and granddaughter, Sofia Rose.

She is survived by the love of her life, Tammy Whitworth; son, Travis Tolliver; daughter, Jessica Tolliver and stepsons, Adam, Sean, and Tristan Whitworth; 2 grandchildren, Hunter and Alexandria; 3 step-grandchildren, Dylan, Xavier, and Austen; Step-parents, Weldon and Judy Whatley; her Sister Friend, Cyndi; the father of her children, Jimmy Tolliver and daughter in law, Auna Tolliver.

The family would like to especially thank the entire Providence Healthcare Family for the care and love they have shown Loretta throughout her illness, especially her Providence Hospice nurse, Leah and the Providence Park Chaplain Services.
