Lonnie Kelly, 78, of Waco, formerly of Marlin, passed away Monday, November 10th.

A gathering of family and friends: 4:30PM to 6:30PM Friday, November 14th at Lake Shore Funeral home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.

Lonnie was born November 26, 1935 in Kosse to Maurice and Grace (Briggs) Kelly. He attended Kosse schools. He worked in Houston as a security guard all of his working life. He was a member of Trinity Memorial Baptist Church in Marlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Johnny Kelly.Survivors include daughters, Lisa Kelly-Wilson and husband Mike, and Vicky Kelly-Higginbotham and husband Dennis; granddaughter, Christy Roby; sister, LaVelleTopaloff; brothers, Bill Kelly, and Herman “Butch” Kelly and wife Pat; several nieces and nephews; numerous other relatives; and his cat, Kitty.

The family would like to acknowledge a special thanks to Providence Hospice.

Memorials should be made to Trinity Memorial Baptist Church in Marlin.
