Lisa Harrison, 46, of Waco, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016.

Funeral Services: 2PM Wednesday, January 20th, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hooker officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.

No visitation is planned.

Lisa was born on August 11, 1969 in Portland, OR. Lisa and Troy met while serving with the China Spring Volunteer Fire Department and they were married on August 20, 1999. They were very much devoted to each other. She was also a very loving and devoted mother. Lisa was very detailed oriented, taking care of everything.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Walker; and stepfather, Carl Walker.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Troy Harrison; son, James “J.T.” Harrison; father, Robert Evans of Portland, OR: brother, Jeff Walker and wife Rae of Pflugerville; sister, Linda Brown and husband Rory of Washington; eight nephews; and mother in law, Pinky Burt.

    I worked with Lisa several years ago and she was so sweet and always talked about her son, she absolutely adored him. My heart is very heavy to hear of her passing.     I am a co-worker of Lisa’s, but being from different departments, we only knew each other in passing hellos. She was always smiling and sweet! I heard only good things from those who knew her well. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and pray God’s love, peace and healing be upon you.

May her family know that she was loved and cherished by friends. God wrap his wings around her family and be with them during this difficult time.
