What a special DVD. Our memories of all of us growing up and going to Granny Montgomerys’ and playing all day on Sunday comes back. To Martha, Amy’s family and Joey’s family we have great memories and loved Larry very much.

Martha, I hope God brings peaceful healing to you and your family at this difficult time. We hope you all can find joy in the fact that Larry is with his precious Lord Jesus and happily spending time with loved ones who have gone before him. I’ve known you and Larry for over 30 years and love you both so much. Working cattle in days gone by and riding the trails of your beautiful piece of heaven, know as C- Ranch, that you generously share are just some of the best memories we have together. I will miss Larry’s smile, big hugs and “love you” greetings every time we saw him. How blessed we all are to have known and loved such a brother in Christ.
    Love & blessings,
    Pat & Marshall

  4. Martha and Family
Can’t begin to tell you how sorry Ann & I were to hear of Larry’s (my buds) passing. For many years we were the absolute best of friends although we had drifted apart several years ago sadly as so often happens with friends. I know I enjoyed our talk a couple of years ago. Sorry he didn’t answer my emails ’cause I would have loved to have caught up. I remember so vividly our trip to Waco in the early 60’s and it was a short 44 years ago he was in our wedding. The memories of showing cows, taking care of the county herds together, taking the herds to Nashville, just spending time together etc. come back so strong. I will have a hole in my heart for him and the entire family.

  12. I was one of the Baylor Riding Association club members when we first relocated to C-Bar Stables. Papa and Mama Joe were such an amazing guiding force for me during my years in Waco. Papa Joe will certainly be missed! I’ll never forget the way he always made me laugh. I could generally hide when I was upset from everyone but him and he always managed to cheer me up no matter what was going on. I’m heartbroken I can’t make it to Waco to say goodbye in person, but rest assured that since the news I’ve kept Papa and Mama Joe both, along with their families, in my prayers.
