Kris Thurman, 54, of Waco passed away July 22, 2015.
Memorial Service: Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 5 p.m. at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel.
Kris was born February 14, 1961 in Hillsboro, TX to Melvin and Reba Thurman. Kris enjoyed bowling, singing karaoke, fishing and doing anything outdoors. He was always making people laugh and telling stories. Kris loved sports and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He worked as a technician at Bill’s Discount Tire for the last 18 years. He was a very loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Kris was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Reba and husband, Aubrey Smith; loving wife, Janice; children, Kristy and husband, Burton Barr, Kimberly and husband, Jammy Thomas, Kevin Ray Thurman and wife, Wendy, and Randall A. Thurman; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy Thurman, Rodney Robinson and wife, Ginger, and Carrie Woodlock; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Janice and Reba I am so sorry to hear about Kris. My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I loved the time I spent with Kris and he rescued me with my tires a couple of times.
