We have enjoyed the fact that Ken has been a part of our lives and considered him a great friend for many years. Our deepest sympathy to you, Betty, and your family. Your family will be in our prayers and we’ll join Ken in Heaven one of these days.

  7. What wonderful memories in that video. Praying that those memories will help in some way and knowing Kenneth is now home with our Savior. Love you and your family!

  8. Carolynn & Hal Williams

I have known Kenneth & Betty since the 70’s. I meet them while they lived in Electra. As the years went on , our friendship grew! Kenneth loved Hal’s smoked ribs along with a Sprite. Looking at the video, thru my tears I couldn’t help but smile at the years of hairdos & wild 70’s business suites. Kenneth was a wonderful husband, father & friend. I’m so glad we had the privilege of seeing him recently & knowing him. We will always love you & we will miss you.
    Carolynn & Hal

  9. Lynne Bishop Mizer

I don’t remember a time that I did not know this dear family. We lived across the street from Sue and Buell (Betty’s parents) in Olney. Athena was my dear friend when I was a girl through my teenage years. Kenneth and Betty were in Olney often from when I was a little girl until the church stopped there meeting a few years ago because there were only two people left. Kenneth and Betty were like family to all the Bishop family in Olney. Kenneth was a kind, soft spoken, gentle man that I was blessed with knowing. Betty, Athena and family, and Kenneth Gordan and family – you are all in my prayers. I love you all.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time.

Kenneth was an inspiration to me as a young boy. I’m thankful for my time with him as a young boy growing up in Wichita Falls. His zeal for the Lord and His church inspired me. His family always made me feel welcome and loved. I’m thankful our paths crossed and I look forward to being with him throughout eternity. Betty, God bless and comfort you and the family during this time. You are loved by many and surrounded by prayers around the world.

  11. Jimbo and Margy McMennamy

We were so very sorry to hear of Kenneth’s passing. He was always so good to our mom Bert, Mac, Johnny and me. We will never think of Kenneth, that we won’t remember his love of Corvettes. He sure loved a “nice” car! Betty Ann, we know that you have amazing memories with Kenneth, that won’t take his place, but will help until you are reunited in Heaven. We love you all.

  12. Shawn & Penny McCarthy

Ken was always so kind and a gentleman to us during our time with American National. The memories in the video were great – hang on to them. We’ll keep you all in our prayers.

  13. Valerie (Huth) Benavides

Betty & Family, You may not remember me: I’m Kenneth’s cousin from Dallas. His father was my mother’s (Dora) brother. I just saw Kenneth’s obituary today & want to send my condolences. I never knew Kenneth that well. When Grandma Elliott passed away in 1996, her old photos were passed down to my mother. When she passed away in 2005, they were passed to me. I have many old childhood photos of Kenneth & family that were sent to Grandma Elliott that I’d like to send to your family, if you can e-mail me the correct address. It is evident from the obituary that Kenneth was loved by many. I’m praying for the happy repose of his soul, thanks be to God.

Leave Your Condolence
