Karl Christopher Hyzer III

Karl C. Hyzer III, 23, of Waco, Texas, died January 13, 2017 after a courageous battle with Sarcoma, a rare form of Cancer. He was born March 30, 1993 in Alameda, California, the son of Karl and Becky (Sepulveda) Hyzer. He graduated from High School in 2011 and enlisted in the United States Army as an Infantryman. Following his enlistment he enrolled in Texas State Technical College and graduated August 2016 with an Associate in Applied Science Degree (with Honors) in Welding Technologies.

Karl is survived by his parents Karl and Becky of Waco, Texas; his sisters Amanda of Crandall, Texas and Courtney of Plano, Texas. He also leaves his paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, James and Billie Hamlin of Valley Springs, California; and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Sepulveda of Paso Robles, California. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Lakeshore Funeral Home in Waco, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Sarcoma Alliance; Sarcoma Foundation of America; or M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
