Joyce L. Pack, 81, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, March 10th at her residence.
Funeral Services: 3PM Friday, March 13th Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8PM Thursday, March 12th at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Joyce was born August 15, 1933 in Wilson, OK to William C. and Ocie B. (Fleming) Cantrell. She married William “Bill” L. Pack on April 14, 1951 in Waco. Together, they had three children. Joyce was a wonderful wife and a great mother. She was active in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She loved her family dearly. She loved cooking, sewing and providing for her family. She was also a talented vocalist. One of her favorite past-times was visiting the Texas coast.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” L. Pack, Sr.; son, Bill Pack, Jr., grandson, Jeffrey Jones; her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Tommie Pack of China Spring, and June Ward and husband Eddie of Chalk Bluff; daughter-in-law, Vickie Pack of Robinson; grandchildren, Amanda and husband Jimmy, Audrey and husband Aaron, Kacie and husband Kyle, Geoffrey and fiance’ Jessica, Nick and wife Stephanie, Brandon and wife Crystal, Erin and husband Jason, Jesse, and Bethany; and a loving grandmother to seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice.

heaven has gained an angel !!!!! She was such a wonderful loving Aunt! One of a kind. My heart goes out to all of her family. I bet her and my Daddy are hugging as I write this. Love to all

Thank you for allowing me to care for Mrs. Pack – it was my honor and privilege. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to get to know her, I feel as though I’ve known her for years through several family members. Wishing you all God’s strength and peace, now and always.
I am sorry for your loss. She was a great woman. I have many fond memories of her. The family will be in my prayers.
I am so sorry for your family’s loss. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out, and I will never forget her coming into the store to play those slot machines. She loved them 🙂

I’m sorry for the loss of your mother and offer my sincere condolences. She has left her temporary home on earth and has gone to be with God, her husband, and her family members in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was truly a sweetheart. She always made me feel so welcome and I know she has always been there for each of you. I have fun memories of when Tommie and I would hang out at your house and your Mom was always smiling and laughing with us. May each of you feel God’s presence and love as you walk through this and treasure those fun memories your Mom has left you with.
