Jordan Dashon Miller, 26, of Lacey Lakeview, died Monday, May 22, 2017.
Visitation: Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco
Celebration of Life Service: Friday, May 26, 2017 at 1:30PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Burial: Will be held privately at a later date.
Jordan was born November 14, 1990 in Waco to Gloria Ann Salazar and Vincent Dashon Miller. Jordan was always very athletically gifted, participating in many different sports throughout his life. In high school, he excelled in football, basketball and track. Jordan made lasting impressions on his coaches and teachers with his great smile and talents. He was a very intelligent young man and hardly ever had to study to make good grades. Jordan graduated from LaVega High School in 2009. After high school went on to work as an electrician and most recently as a shipper at LHoist North America in Crawford. While working full time, Jordan continued his education and achieved his Bachelor’s degree in Business this past January, from Argosy University. Jordan was a loving son, husband, and most of all father. His children were his passion. Jordan enjoyed spending time with them no matter the occasion, taking them to Cameron Park or laying on the couch while he read or played his PS4.
Jordan is survived by his four children, Amora Annee Miller, Chance Garrett Miller, Easton Neil Miller, and Jordan Dashon Miller,Jr.; his wife, Tarin Elizabeth Miller; his mother and step-father, Gloria Wilson and Harold Wilson, Jr.; father, Vincent Dashon Miller, Sr.; siblings, Justin Valdez, Mia Roman, Christal Valdez, and Vincent Dashon Miller, Jr; maternal grandparents, Josie Gauna and Leonard Muniz; paternal grandparents, Sammy, Jr. and Frances Miller; grandmother, Brenda Miller; the mother of his daughter, Amber White; the mother of his youngest son, Neichma Acevado; his best friends, Daniel Moreno, Dan Wilson and Dexton Swanson; along numerous numerous other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jordan was a bright young man and touched many lives in his short 26 years; he will be deeply missed.

I went to school with Jordan, back in the 5th grade he got me my first little bow wow CD. I’ll never forget that! He was a kind hearted young man. I’m praying for you and your other kids and family. My prayers and sincere condolences to all the family and friends. I remember Jordan being full of life when I had him in 5th grade.
There are no words, nothing i can say to make this go away. Time will heal all Jordan’s loved one’s… i love you all and am truly saddened for his children, his mother, and his siblings. He shall rest in peace now. In Jesus name we pray amen.
I worked with Jordan a short time and got to know both him and his best friend. Jordan was a really awesome guy and hearing how he went on about his kids really showed the type of person he was. When I wanted to give up, he pushed me to stick with it and keep working and I did. I wish his family the best. He touched more people than he realized and was one of those guys you instantly liked no matter what and never treated people badly.

Me and Sean have so many GREAT memories of Sean and Jordan playing baseball together and ALWAYS playing together everyday since we lived down the street from each other. I can only imagine the pain that you must feel right now. I pray that God will wrap His arms around you and give you His peace and comfort that you need to face the days ahead without Jordan. My heart is very sad for the loss of Jordan. I know that Sean will hold on to all of the great memories he had with Jordan and I definitely will too. I’m so sorry for what you are having to go thru.

I knew Jordan a little under a year as we worked together in Tennessee , he was passionate when it came to his kids. Was a kind an gun young man to be around , i will miss the slang that he use to say when i would interrupt him ” Whoo , pump your brakes partner”,Lol.
