Jayne Allen Wood, 74, of Waco, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017, in the company of her loving family.


Visitation:
A visitation will take place Monday, November 27, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.

Funeral Service: Services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Shore Funeral Home; burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.

Jayne was born February 3, 1943 in Grayson County to Joe Walter and Darleen Whiteside Allen. She was a long time resident of Tyler where she worked as a seamstress before relocating to Waco and retiring from M&M Mars. Jayne was a devoted member of Highland Baptist Church for many years and was a very dedicated mother and grandmother.

Jayne was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Darleen Allen; two sons, Brandon and Darrell Wood; and brother, Wayne Allen.  Her loving memory will be forever cherished by her son, Kelley Wood and wife, Missy of Waco; grandchildren, Brandon Wood and wife, Jessica of Waco, Darrell Wood and wife, Brittany of Tyler, Brittany Wood and husband James Pinon of Fort Worth, and Monika Wood of Waco; daughter-in-law, Gail Wood of Lorena; and six great grandchildren.  Thoughts and memories may be shared at www.LakeShoreFH.com.
