Janie Rodriquez, 58, of Waco, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at Providence Health Center. Janie was born July 16, 1958 in Marlin to Julia and Cruz Soto.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Juan Barron; four daughters, Susie & Marcos Valdez, Clara Rodriquez, Lupe and Joe Barragan, Rosa & Isaac Lampkin; 11 grandchildren all of Waco;five sisters; Annie Soto, Susie Reyna, Josie Fuentues, Rosie Carrizales, Lupe Hernandez; Tony Soto, Cruz Jr. Soto and numerous nieces and nephews. Also a very special friend, Carleen Stanfer.

Janie was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend to all and will be truly missed.

Pallbearers will be Marcos Valdez, Joe Barragan, Joe Barragan Jr, Isaac Lampkin, Juan Barron and Adrian Sosa.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 28th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, in Waco. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 29th in the chapel at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
