Grief Community Resources

FOR CHILDREN:

The mission of Jamie’s Place is to support grieving children and families as they journey toward hope and healing through support groups, education, and community outreach.

Family-based grief support groups are offered to children, grades K-12, and their parents or guardians. Within age-specific groups, children are provided with a safe place to express their feelings through age appropriate activities. Concurrently, parents and guardians attend their own group where they discuss how to help children process grief in a healthy manner. All support services through Jamie’s Place are provided at no cost to families thanks to donors’ generous support.
