Gladys Christine Snyder, 88, of Crawford, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation: Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco with burial to follow at Crawford Cemetery.

Gladys was born September 5, 1929 to Thomas and Lois McMillan in Moline, TX.  She was a longtime member of Northside Church of Christ.  Gladys was a hard working, old fashion, Christian lady, who was was devoted to her family, friends, and neighbors.  No stranger or acquaintance entered her home without being fed and made comfortable.  People will always remember her for her smile.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Wilson Snyder; son, Jerry Snyder; brother and sister-in-law Norman and Chico McMillan; and daughter-in-law, Carol Snyder.

She is survived by her son, Wilson Snyder and wife Jennifer; daughter, Barbara Thomas and husband, James; grandchildren, Cheryl Snyder, Matthew Snyder, David Snyder, Chris Perkins, Heather Stepp, Alisha Jenkins, Eric Thomas, Jason Thomas, Paul Thomas, Vincent Thomas, and Jennifer Ingram Reed; brothers and sister-in-laws, Carl and Mildred, Bob and Arlene, and Marshall and Carol; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Ridgecrest Retirement Center for over 3 years of professional care.
