Gary Cecil Bohannon, 64, of China Spring, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Temple.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco.

Graveside Service: Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:00AM at China Spring Cemetery.

Gary was born November 17, 1951 in Elkhart, Kansas to the late Harold Cecil and Ina Louise Hahn Bohannon. After graduating high school, Gary joined the United States Army. He served his country honorably for three years. Gary received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Gary enjoyed spending time fishing on the Bosque River and hunting. He had a deep passion for children, dogs and cats. Gary is known for his heart of gold and will be truly missed. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ina Louise Bohannon; brother, Jesse Bohannon; sisters, Kay Willis and Linda Hickman.

Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Diane Mullins and her husband Darren; grandchildren, Destiny Dustin and Dakota Mullins; siblings, Paul Bohannan and his wife Judy Merritt, Darlene Loflin and her husband Dan, Sherry Jackson and her husband Wacker, Bob Bohannon and his wife Jenny, Kevin Bohannon and his wife Leslie, David Bohannon and his wife Cindy, Jimmy Bohannon and his wife Sheila, and Lee McIntyre and his wife JoAnne; sister-in-law, Rene Bohannon; brother-in-law, Eddie Willis; 33 Nieces and Nephews; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.

In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations in Gary’s memory be sent to help cover his funeral expenses.
