Evelyn Boehme, 92, of The Woodlands, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her home.

Funeral Services: 11 AM Friday, May 8, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverends Larry Felice and Harold Federwisch officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Evelyn Louise Boehme of The Woodlands, Texas, entered her Heavenly home on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.

Evelyn was born in Riesel, Texas on February 6, 1923, to Ewald and Elizabeth Courtade Engelke. A graduate of Riesel High School, Evelyn spent her business career at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands A. H. (Buddy) Boehme and Gene F. Sutton; daughter and son-in-law Janice and Wade Welch; son Larry Glen Boehme; sister Rose Jackson; and brother Raymond Engelke.

Survivors include brother Walter Engelke, wife Elizabeth; grandson Brian Welch, wife Charita; great-grandson Jared Welch; daughter-in-law Cindy Boehme; nieces: Sharon Caddell, husband Michael; Rita Clendennen, husband Gary; Anne Engelke; Janell Engelke; Susan Lewis, husband Keith; Donna Lloyd Lovretovich, husband Joe; nephews: Kenneth Ray Engelke, Michael McFerrin, wife Robbye ; sister-in-law Margie Radke.

Pallbearers will be Michael Caddell, Keith Lewis, Brian Welch, and Larry Nering.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions in her memory to Alzheimer’s research.
