Eleanor Suzette Murrell-Jackson, 51, of Dallas passed away on October 10, 2017.

Visitation: Friday, October 20th from 6-8 PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Funeral Service: Saturday, October 21st at 1:00 PM New Horizon Baptist Church with burial to follow at Elm Mott Community Cemetery

She was the sixth child born to Nathaniel and Doris Murrell. She graduated from Connally High School in 1985 and in December of that same year, she met and married Stewart Allen Inge, Sr. To this union three children, Rolanda LeAnn Inge, Stewart Allen Inge, Jr., and Stefen Coty Inge, were born.

Eleanor started her Christian journey early in life when she first united with Bush Chapel CPCA. During her teenage years, she joined Good Samaritan Baptist Church and later united with New Horizon Baptist Church. When she moved to the Dallas area, she served at Faith CPCA, God’s Way Nehemiah MBC. Most recently she was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Baptist Church. You could always find her working with the youth. Whether it was summer camp, Sunday School, or Children’s Church, this was truly her passion.

While attending church at God’s Way Nehemiah, she met Reginald Jackson and they married in July, 2014. She said, “This union is definitely from God!” Reginald, Eleanor, and their grandson Zyorian Inge lived in Dallas, Texas at the time of her death on October 10, 2017.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Murrell.

Many people will miss Sis Jackson, especially the family left to cherish those numerous memories. Survivors include her loving husband, Reginald Jackson; mother, Doris Murrell; children, Rolanda Inge, Stewart (Tiffany) Inge, Stefen (Kaleshia) Inge; grandchildren, Zyorian Inge, Jii Inge, Amari Inge, Zacharyha Jones, Laila Inge, Zykeem Jones; brothers and sisters, Nathaniel Murrell Jr., Nathan (Sherry) Murrell Sr., Natalie Turner, Arnetra (Thurman) Watson, Sr., Edwin (Patricia) Murrell, Arnissa (Jude) Amadi; aunts, Earline Jones, Dora Taylor, Archie Durham, Wanda Hall, Bobby Mitchell, Bettie Haliburton, Lorine Haliburton, Florine Haliburton; best friend, Steven Green; nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

  12. I will always miss and remember Ms. Eleanor. When I met her at work in Dallas , TX it was like meeting my long lost older sister. I grew to admire and respect her. She was such a joy and a very good friend of mine. I am still shocked to learn of her passing. I offer continued prayer and condolences to the family.
