  5. Tim & DLynn Amatrone

It’s very difficult to find the proper words to express our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation for Don. When we moved here, far away from our family, friends, and hometown Don was the first to accept us, and try to get to know us. From then on, an undeniable friendship was built. Over the years, that friendship grew better and stronger, to the point we considered each other family, hence the reason I called him my “Texas Daddy” Don! Tim and Don spent a lot of long hours working together on breakdowns and projects in the plant, and they would never leave one another hanging, they stuck it out together because that’s what friends do. We also spent countless Friday nights after work drinking a cold beer, venting about our days, telling stories about our families, our adventures, and reminiscing. Those are memories that will truly remain in our hearts for the rest of our lives. We can only hope that he knew just how much his friendship truly meant to us, and the difference that he made in our lives. He was truly a wonderful man, one of the best we have ever had the privileged of calling our friend.
We LOVE YOU Daddy Don! RIP… until we meet again!
    Love always!
    Tim & D’Lynn Amatrone
