David Garibay, 58 of Waco, passed away on August 2, 2016 from sustained injuries. He went to meet his Mom and Dad in Heaven, who loved him very much.
David was born August 14, 1957 in Waco to the late Felix and Elena P. Garibay. It broke our hearts to hear what happened to our brother. He was a gentle, kind hearted person, that we loved so very much. David loved the Baylor Girls Basketball team, the Baylor Football team, and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed playing and listening to music. He was a hard working person, who never said no if you ever needed his help. David was our little brother, best uncle ever and even a special Dad to a niece and nephew. We will treasure all the memories we have of him forever and ever. May you rest in peace, enjoy it up there in Heaven with Mom, who loved you so much and worried so much about you.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Elena P. Garibay; niece, Samantha Garibay; sister-in-law, Pauline Garibay. David leaves to cherish his memory his loving brother, Felix P. Garibay, Jr.; sisters, Mary Jane Resendez and husband Alex and Teresa Blanton; nieces, Lisa Resendez and Michelle Blanton (who was like a daughter); nephews, Kevin, Alex and Adam Resendez, Brad Blanton (who was like a son), Felix Garibay III; 6 great nieces, 7 great nephews, several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
