Condolences for the family of “Dana Bruce Collins”

Condolence from Gary Dalton Bentley on December 21st, 2014 11:31 am

I am so sorry to hear of Dana’s passing. My heart goes out to Nancy and his family. Dana was one of the truly good hearts in this world. Dana had a great love for music and we made great music together back c. 1970, he playing bass and I guitar in several rock groups around El Paso, Texas in and after high school. The world is smaller and meaner without him.

Nancy,
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Dana’s passing. He was a great business associate and so much more. I trusted him completely, and respected his talent and character completely.

This is a real loss for all of us who knew and loved him, and I can’t imagine what you and your children are going through. Know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence from Tim Grayem on December 23rd, 2014 2:39 pm

I was very saddened to hear of Dana Collins passing. He was a very fine person and an excellent family man. Dana and I came to Dallas together to open a new recruiting business in 1980. We worked closely for two years and he is a very fond memory for Laurie and me. He was always upbeat and fun and we spent countless hours as young men taking the city of Dallas by storm.
Dana was a kind and good person with great intelligence and unflagging good humor and wit. His legacy will be cherished by his wife and sons who are mourning now and need the prayers of his earthly friends. Many blessings for his loving wife Nancy and sons.
I am truly sorry.

I worked with Dana at Wells Recruiting Systems in Century City, California, in the late 70’s and early 80’s, and remember him fondly. I am very sad to learn of his passing, at such a young age. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Condolence from Jon Parker on August 19th, 2015 10:20 pm

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Collins family.
Dana was first, my boss but soon thereafter, a good friend and someone I could always count on for sound advise or counsel.
He also played a mean harmonica ripping an excellent solo on an original song of mine that, to this day, I think is the highlight of the number.
God rest his beautiful soul.
